Description
Mark E is a Birminham-based producer and DJ whose first foray into production were edits somewhere between 105 and 115 BPM. Mark went beyond edits and into original production, starting his own label,MERC, and honing a sound that was uniquely blue collar and utilitarian—classic, almost industrial house, with a tinge of disco warmth. Today, his debut album Stone Breaker comes into existence, full of confident, darkroom house that owes as much to Chicago as it does to the cosmos.
