When Art of Tones released a series of two EPs on 2020vision in 2005, people thought it was a well known producer using a secret alias. It was in fact Ludovic Llorca, a very well known producer, but in the jazz and downtempo scene. WHat started as a side project, nowadays Art of Tones is Llorca’s main project, and he has really been perfecting his more straight up, dubby dance floor orientated house music since. Last years “The World As I Live It” EP on Room With a View in 2010 was a big success, both critically and commercially, and his remix work includes tracks for labels such as 2020vision, Freerange and Compost Black. ?The mix is a lovely summery blend, hinting at Ludovic’s backgrond in jazz whilst maintaining Art of Tones’ typical house groove.
