American technoheads and those in NY particularly will already be familiar with the DJ because he is one of the most important promoters on the East Coast. His Blk|Market Membership events are largely responsible for NY’s return on the global party scene with stellar line-ups featuring the hottest international acts in techno and tech-house. He is also the record buyer at Halcyon, Brooklyn’s own version of Phonica records, if you will.
Naturally, Taimur came up with a genuine digger’s mix, a mysterious blend of rare vinyl-only grooves that spans 2h46min. So sit back, relax and enjoy this set which brought me back to Fabric room 1, reminding me of an early morning Craig Richards session. In other words, truly timeless but always relevant.
